Mental Health Support for the Spoonies

Mental Health Support for the Spoonies, because living with chronic illness and pain is exhausting.

Hi, I’m Lindsey Mann, PLPC. I’m a mental health therapist who lives with chronic illness and pain. I’m here to help lighten the load, one spoonie to another.

I help you navigate the mental health landmines that come with living with chronic illness and pain to create a life you love.

Chronic Illness & Pain Affect More Than Just the Body

If you’re like many of my clients, you may also be experiencing:

Ongoing anxiety about your health or the future – Struggling to plan because you never know what knew symptom your body will uncover.

Unrelenting Grief – Being hit by wave after wave of grief with new losses every day.

Relationship strain – Struggling to balance asking for help, while also not wanting to be a burden.

Increased Isolation – Feeling like no one understands and slowly losing support over time.

Loss of self – Feeling like a shell of who you used to be, unsure how to get back to yourself.

Depression – Feeling numb, lost, and tired of carrying this heaviness.

Living with chronic illness and pain is exhausting, but you don’t have to carry it alone.

How to Get Started:

Step 1: Start with a Discovery Call

We’ll begin with a free 15-minute consultation to talk about what you're experiencing and what you're looking for in therapy. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if I’m the right fit to support your journey.

A man with short dark hair and a beard, wearing a white shirt, is sitting at a kitchen table on a call while working on a laptop. The table has a blue mug, various baked goods, and a tray of decorated cookies. The background includes kitchen items and a neutral-colored wall.

If you’re ready to get started, we’ll schedule your first full session. These 50-minute virtual sessions are a safe, supportive space where we can explore what’s going on and begin working toward the change you want to see.

Step 2: Begin Your Personalized Therapy Sessions

Step 3: Experience Growth at Your Own Pace

Therapy is a process, not a quick fix—but with time and support, many clients begin to feel more grounded, resilient, and in control of their lives. We’ll regularly reflect on your progress and adjust our work to fit your needs as you grow.
