Therapy for Chronic Pain & Illness in Missouri

Because pain doesn’t just live in your body, it affects your mind, your relationships, and your sense of self.

When Your Body Hurts, Everything Feels Harder

You didn’t choose this pain, but now you’re carrying it every day.
Maybe you’re exhausted by the endless cycle of doctor visits, dismissive answers, and trying to keep up appearances.
Maybe your body doesn’t feel like home anymore. And you’re grieving the version of you that used to feel strong, capable, or carefree.

Whether it’s fibromyalgia, autoimmune illness, long COVID, or an unnamed pain no one seems to understand, your mental health matters just as much as your physical symptoms.

Chronic Illness Affects More Than Just the Body

If you’re like many of my clients, you may also be experiencing

  • Ongoing anxiety about your health or future

  • Relationship strain from needing more support

  • Guilt for not being able to “just push through”

  • Depression or isolation from being misunderstood

  • Grief over the life you used to have

  • You start to believe this is just your life now

This isn’t weakness, it’s a natural response to living with constant pain or fatigue. And you don’t have to do it alone.

Hi, I’m Lindsey—And I Get It

I became a therapist because I know this struggle personally. I’ve lived with chronic pain, and I know how heavy it can feel when your body won’t cooperate with your life. Through therapy, I found tools that helped me cope with the emotional weight of illness, and now I help others do the same. My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and deeply rooted in compassion. I believe that therapy should feel like a safe space where your whole experience, physical, emotional, spiritual, is welcomed and supported.

Personalized Support, Right Where You Are

What Therapy Looks Like

  • 1-on-1 Telehealth sessions from the comfort of your home

  • $125 per session (50 minutes)

  • Private pay only

I use a trauma-informed approach that creates a safe space to explore the physical and emotional toll of living with chronic pain. You don’t have to fake it here. You can show up exactly as you are.

Working with me is easy!

Step 1: Start with a Discovery Call

We’ll begin with a free 15-minute consultation to talk about what you're experiencing and what you're looking for in therapy. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if I’m the right fit to support your journey.

If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first full session. These 50-minute virtual sessions are a safe, supportive space where we can explore what’s going on, develop tools that work for you, and begin working toward the change you want to see.

Step 2: Begin Your Personalized Therapy Sessions

Step 3: Experience Growth at Your Own Pace

Therapy is a process, not a quick fix—but with time and support, many clients begin to feel more grounded, resilient, and in control of their lives. We’ll regularly reflect on your progress and adjust our work to fit your needs as you grow.

Nice To Meet You!
